Exactly 20 years ago, on 1 October 2004, MSC Gate Bremerhaven officially started operations as a dedicated terminal for the MSC shipping line.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our business partners, customers and suppliers for their trust.
Our special thanks go to our employees, who ensure the smooth throughput of containers on a daily basis and thus reliably guarantee the efficiency of MSC Gate Bremerhaven as a gateway terminal for import and export containers as well as for transhipment.
MSC Gate is located in the southern part of Bremerhaven’s container port. With ten Super-Post-Panamax container gantry cranes and two Megamax container gantry cranes as well as a modern fleet of straddle carriers, including 35 hybrid straddle carriers of the latest generation, the container ships of the MSC shipping line and its partners are handled here every day.
When it was founded in 2004, the joint venture between EUROGATE and TIL, MSC’s terminal company, was planned to run for 20 years. Last year, both partners extended their long-term commitment for a further 25 years, until 2048.
